About This Activity

In the heart of Riyadh, specifically in the historic Al-Murabba district, and adjacent to King Abdulaziz Palace, stands the Saudi National Museum as one of the Kingdom's most prominent cultural landmarks. Opened in 1419 AH (1998/1999 CE), it occupies an area of approximately 17,000 square meters, offering a comprehensive narrative of the history of the Arabian Peninsula through more than 3,700 diverse artifacts and heritage items, including rare manuscripts, statues, historical objects, and artistic models that reflect the depth and diversity of its civilization.

The museum takes its visitors on a journey through time, from prehistoric times to the modern era, with a display style that combines authenticity with contemporary museum techniques.
